2025 Family Meet-ups and Registration | International Foundation for CDKL5 Research

We are so excited to be planning family meet-ups again this year! We want to thank our generous sponsors (listed below) for making this possible without the use of any hard-earned fundraising dollars! We also want to thank our host families who are putting these together. We’re still finalizing details on some of these, but full information will be sent to all registered participants. Each meet-up will include time for fun, socializing, and food, along with accommodations tailored to our community’s needs.

Please see the descriptions for each meet-up and register below!

California: Join us on Sunday, November 9^th, from 12-4 pm! We will be returning to Splitsville in Downtown Disney for this meet-up. In 2023, the facilities were accommodating, the food was great, and the families had a blast! It is a great time for families to connect and build friendships!

Colorado: Join us August 16^th, at 12pm at Top Golf, 16011 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado 80023! We will have food and fun on the schedule! Last time was a fun time, and we are ready for more of the same this year!

Florida: Join us from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm on August 9, 2025, at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI)!  We will have the ENTIRE main floor to ourselves, along with 2 classrooms for food and downtime! A changing space is available for all our kiddos, big and small. Following the fun will be a nitrogen ice cream experience/presentation with ice cream to enjoy for everyone! 

Georgia: Join us Sunday, September 21st, for a day at the ballpark! We have a suite reserved at CoolRay Field with food and fun on the menu! The Gwinnett Stripers game starts at 1 pm, and the gates open at noon!

Ohio: Join us Saturday, August 2^nd from 1-5pm in Newton, Ohio for a day of outdoor fun near Lake Barber! We will have an area to gather (please bring lawn chairs). We will be providing a lunch of Cincinnati favorites. There are walking paths to enjoy, an opportunity for an adaptive skiing experience for those interested, and additional fun things to do. Texas: Saturday, September 13^th at Morgan’s Wonderland! Morgan’s is an all-inclusive theme park with amazing accommodations and a staff that truly understands the needs of our community. Please register below if you’re interested, and more details will follow!
